What you Need

Instructions

First, print off the Halloween finger puppet patterns and cut out each piece.

Lay them onto the correct color of felt and trace around the pattern with a sharpie marker.

Cut out each of the felt pieces.

Separate all of the “body” pieces from the other pieces. Hot glue around the edges and top, but NOT around the bottom.

Press the front and back pieces together. Try to put the side that has sharpie marker on the inside so that it cannot be seen.

For the pumpkins, put hot glue on the backs of the pumpkins, and then press them onto the front of the body.

For the bigger pumpkins, you might want to put hot glue on the body and then press the pumpkin onto it because the pumpkin is bigger than the body.

Glue on a stem, then draw on a face.

How to Play

For storytelling, I simply told the stories of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs, but I changed them up a little.

It was The Flying Bat and the Three Pumpkins and The Three Building Pumpkins. So basically the exact same stories as Goldilocks and The Three Little Pigs, but with new characters.

We also pulled out the book Five Little Pumpkins and used the pumpkin finger puppets to tell that story.
